Goodness gracious, “World’s Greatest Sandwich”… What kind of crack are these people smoking? “World’s ok sandwich if you are at a mall and really wanted a sandwich” seems more appropriate, but I can see how that is a pretty long tagline.
I have noticed these franchises strategically placed in really populated places, never solo or in a small plaza. I went to the one at International Mall, but have been to the on in Downtown Disney as well. Both places have thousands of people and limited inexpensive meals available. Obviously an intelligent business move, but that certainly doesn’t qualify them as being the best sandwich!
The sandwich was good, but not a lot of flavor. What I did like was the banana peppers, they are not a usual on a sandwich and they worked well with the roasted peppers. The chicken was kind of plain, I imagine that’s because they are not making it on site, and the sauce didn’t have much kick or flavor at all.
For the price…not really feeling it. I could have eaten after and there was quite a bit of bread left over.
Nowhere to be seen on the leader board with a 6.5.
