Poutine @ Datz

Delicious, but not Canadian enough…lol I went to Montreal in August and was excited to see I could get the same thing down here and was a little bummed. Don’t get me wrong I loved it and everything was very tasty.

Maybe it was a little more traditional than what I had up north, I think I got some specialty one with a ton of meats and cheeses on it when I first had it. Absolutely great drinking/hangover food.

There was a great mixture of flavors and just the right amount of gravy to not make everything soggy.

I think it is needless to say but if you have not had the pleasure of experiencing Datz you should go there today. Anytime, breakfast, lunch or dinner you will walk out excited to come back.

Menu Description

Poutine- crispy fries, cheese curd demi-glace, fried egg. -$9 (half price during happy hour)

Ok, if I never had Poutine before and this was my first experience I would give it a 9.2, but as a comparison to Canada it will need to be a 7.8.

Hi there! Thank you so much for the great review and blog! We appreciate you spreading the word. A quick note about the poutine: you can add pulled pork or chicken if you want to beef it up!

    Thanks again :-)
