Is a burger a sandwich? It’s bread with meat in the middle so it qualifies in my mind. The menu had a huge variety of appealing burgers but since this was my first trip to Red Robin I decided on a burger that is pretty much my go to burger at several establishments – a Bleu Cheese burger.
I typically do not enjoy lettuce and tomato on a Bleu Cheese burger – I felt it was essential to have it just like it is on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked in this case. This burger came loaded with plenty of bleu cheese, onion straws, tangy steak sauce and zesty chipotle aioli. I hear aioli all the time on Food Network but I still don’t know what it is, who cares? In this particular case, it was damn good. The burger itself was cooked evenly to
perfection, juicy and very tasty.
This burger is what I would call an all-in-one burger. No sides required, it’s all in there. Regardless, it comes with great steak fries and they are bottomless. As long as you can eat them, they keep bringing them. All washed down with Sam Adams Winter Lager.
