Sirloin Tips in Green Curry Sauce @ Thai Gourmet Market

Does Dean talk Thai? No, but Dean really enjoyed eating Thai food. The Thai Gourmet Market is a really cool place with a different concept.  They have a few fresh dishes ready to eat.  They also have several prepared to-go meals and an assortment of homemade jarred sauces.

I think I’ve eaten Thai food before but I don’t remember.  If I did it obviously didn’t make much of an impression.  I had the Sirloin Tips in Green Curry Sauce with Pad Thai and Black Rice.   At first I wasn’t sure what to make of the colors that were very different from anything I’m used to eating.   One taste and any concern was put to rest.

The beef was super tender and the sauce made anything it touched very “tasty”.  I tried using the cool stainless steel chopsticks – I wasn’t very successful.  After a few bites I grabbed a fork and combined everything so I could have the perfect “tasty” bite every time.  I thought curry was just for Indian food and super spicy.  This sauce had a little heat but nothing extreme.  It came with a fresh & crunchy Asian Slaw, which was also very “tasty”.
