I checked out the diverse menu at Datz and was instantly focused on the ‘Cue the Brisket sandwich. I was a little concerned that I had to pay $12 for a sandwich – seems a little steep. The old cliche’, “you get what you pay for”, held true in this case. The value far outweighed the price.
I’ve said it before – I’m not a big fan of cole slaw. For some reason it seems to be a little more prevalent on sandwiches these days, at least in the Tampa Bay area.
Lately, I do love a good slaw on a good sandwich. The beef brisket was super tender and the zesty bbq sauce made for a great pairing. Throw on the cool, crisp, fresh slaw – WOW! It doesn’t stop there. The Chips were incredible as well.
