Ehh… it was ok. The menu sounded good, and it had a great taste, but eating it was kind of a pain in the a$$. As you can see it is a half head of Romaine lettuce grilled (which gave it a awesome flavor) topped with the other stuff on the menu.
I tried being proper and cutting it up, but ended up finding it easier to eat like a hotdog. It is on the menu for $8, but during happy hour it was half price. $4 ok, $8 I don’t think so.
The food here has always been good, but if you want to just check it out 4:30-6:30 is the time to do it. It is a little trendy and eclectic, great drinks, and cool place to go out for the night. Maybe a bit over priced for the food.
As a bar 9.5, if you are going out to eat 7.3ish :-/
Menu Description
The D-May: grilled romaine • hickory bacon • crispy shallots • gorgonzola vinaigrette + A Guiness-$7.43 (Total with tax…this was during happy hour)
