My journey today was accompanied by a Bistec Empanizado (Breaded Steak) sandwich, all the way.
The meal began with a tray of fresh, buttered, Cuban bread. It’s hard not to fill up while waiting! My sandwich arrived about 10 minutes later. Absolutely wonderful. La Teresita is famous for Cuban Sandwiches, however, I wanted to try something different. The breaded steak was served between slices of Cuban Bread (of course.) The onion, tomato and lettuce were a nice touch. Very enjoyable. The beef was seasoned with Cuban spices that gave it a very unique flavor. I will definitely be back again – looking forward to my next experience.
The good – Extremely affordable, authentic Cuban cuisine.
The bad – I ordered fries. The portions are large enough, you really don’t need anything else. Besides, they were soggy. No complaints, though. I should have known better.

Great blog! Sorry to get off subject, but since Nashville is getting a lot of press lately, I’d like to find a great sushi restaurant or Japanese restaurant in Nashville TN. Have you seen any recent buzz? There’s a new one called Nomzilla Sushi Et Cetera, but very few reviews. Here’s the address of this new Nashville Sushi Restaurant, 1201 Villa Place #101 Nashville, TN 37212 – (615) 268-1424. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
